Everyone loves getting chocolate for Christmas. Its one of those things were its acceptable to have copious amounts of it and still be eating it for at least a week after. I’ve picked out my top 5 selections of chocolates from various retailers which I think would make amazing gifts for family and friends this year. I’ve tried to include different chocolate gifts of varying price points, including a wonderful Lindt gift which would make a lovely stocking filler to a luxury chocolate hamper from Hotel Chocolat that is sure to please everyone.
(I’m going to stop typing now, before I start drooling over these chocolates)
Chocolate Box Selection £4.49
This box has a collection of milk, dark and while Belgian chocolates. The designs make them look even more luxurious. At £4.49 they are an absolute steal and they defintiely look more expensive than they are! It contains chocolates flavours of Yule Log, Chocolate Ganache, Praline Cream, Salted Butterscotch, Festive Orange Ganache and Raspberry Truffles. All of which sound delish!
Lindt Teddy and Friends Milk Chocolate Icicle £5
This little gift would make the perfect stocking filler or Secret Santa present. I love how Lindt have made a small box containing all their Christmas favourites including the classic Christmas Bear. I would definitely love it if I got this in my stocking on Christmas day.
Christmas Classic Collection £10
This box of chocolates looks and feels more expensive than it is, which is great considering it only costs £10 (and it’s currently on a 3 for 2 offer!). Thorntons have included a fairly extensive variety of chocolates including a white chocolate snowball and some spiced fudge (sounds super Christmassy and delishous). I thought these boxes were great value so I stocked up on a few to give to friends and family this Christmas.
Marks and Spencer
Swiss Chocolate Gift Bag £20
Marks and Spencer are helping us all out this year by bringing us this Swiss Chocolate Gift bag for £20. With everything in the bag and it gift wrapped for you, what more could you want at this very busy time. The gift bag has a lovely gold theme suitable for Christmas and contains lots of exciting goodies like Swiss Truffles and a Selection of dark, white and milk chocolate as well as lots more.
All I Want for Christmas Hamper £35
Lastly is the Hamper from Hotel Chocolat. I don’t think I could have written this blog post without including something from them. This is the most expensive chocolate selection I’ve included at £35. I know this sounds like a lot of money for some chocolate, but when you break it down, Hotel Chocolat have included a lot in this hamper and they even have it gift wrapped for you. The goodies they’ve included are a Penguin Slab, Chocolate Santas, Reindeer Lolly, Milk and Cookies Slab, Champagne Truggles, Salted Caramel snowflakes and a Christmas H box which includes one of each of the Christmas chocolates for this year.
It can be difficult buying chocolate gifts for friends and family, so I’m hoping my Top 5 Chocolate gifts for this year will be of help to you.
