DIY Christmas Gifts

Are you struggling to think of a gift for something this Christmas? Maybe you’d like to make something. I’ve got 4 DIY gifts for you this Christmas. I’ve also filmed me making them if you’d like to check that out hereimg_1363img_1371img_1367Pamper Yourself Box

I love nothing more than to have a cosy night in and getting pampered. I thought a box full of items which are great for pampering would be great. I included items like a face mask, DVD, popcorn, nail polish and some sweets.

Candle 1 (Red)
You’ll need an elastic band, cinnamon sticks and a ribbon
Place the elastic band around the candle and place the cinnamon sticks around the candle, using the band to hold them in place. Once you’re happy with them use your ribbon to wrap around the cinnamon sticks, hiding the elastic band.

Candle 2 (White)
You’ll need double sided tape, ribbon and a decorative item (I choose to use a wooden tree decoration)
Using the double sided tape, attach the ribbon to the candle, making sure it’s nice and secure, Finally, add your decorative item to finish the candle.

You’ll need a small seal able jar (I picked mine up in IKEA), 1 cup of white sugar and soft light brown sugar, 3/4 cup of coconut oil, 1/2 teaspoon of vanilla, all spice, nutmeg and ginger.
Mix the two types of sugar and then add the coconut all and beat together until its mixed together. Then add all the vanilla and spices and give it a good mix. Spoon the scrub into the jar and add a label.

You’ll need white mugs, nail polish and a plastic bowl of water.
Pour the nail polish into the bowl of water and place the mug into the bowl. Hold it there for a few seconds and then lift out and leave to dry. You can do this for lots of different colours. I actually found that a glittery style nail polish didn’t work as well as a solid colour. Although when it was mixed with a solid colour, it did give a nice effect (the blue and gold mug).

Have you ever tried to make any of these? I’d love to hear.
